August 28 A great thanksI just want to use this opportunity to thank all WiN's HaVeN's fans that have been ever-faithful to visit and comment on this blog.
Your active viewership has urged me to want to continue to post more blogs, videos, inspirations. I just want to share a good report with all of you.

Its by this NZ band called Parachute Band.
My first impression of them wasn't too good but slowly grew in love with their sincerity and music.
They carry the presence of God when they play.
I particularly like Surrender all apart from everyone's favourite Living Rain.

Thank God for this one year of wonderful and exciting journey in this awesome ministry!
W453 was formally introduced to CHC on August 07.
Our FOP was the very service that we had. Back then, we had 11 core members but 2 backslided on the very same week itself.
So effectively our family was only 9 strong.
Leading this group is really a challenge as we often struggle to grow. But God is always faithful as our journey unveils..

As a CG, we've impacted 92 friends. Integrated 10 friends!
Not forgetting you people... Germaine Fajin Jasmine Brenda. Our lovely "senior" members that got transferred to other CGs and happily flourishing there!
Although some of you are no longer with us but you guys have an important part in the history of W453. We miss you: Karen Zexian Becks Jenny Minxuan Desmond(overseas) Colin(overseas).
I always rmb that in my earlier days as a leader, I always wanted to be the fastest growing CG in the zone! I want to do it my way, I tried my best to keep bringing all the friends that I can think of but none stayed. As time past, I became discourage. Our CG just don't seem to breakthrough to the 1 digit mark. We're always stuck with 7, 8 , 9. New people coming in, people going out. At times, I felt like quitting. Thank God for Pastor, Kel Tan, Karen, Sharon, Bee, Donny, RSC and my fellow ldr friends for encouraging me to persevere. People like Zhen Ying has done it before. My heroes of explosive growths like Bee and Karen. And of cuz my members that never fail to be there for me. My CGCs that always fight this fight with me. Yes, its a long and tiring battle but I thank God we didn't quit.
God is faithful.
During Apr 08, everything seemed to turn around. We prayed more. We worshipped more. More BS given. Discipleship sessions.
And after Inspire Camp, 21-day fast, 1 wk mrng powerhouse @JW, many many days of 6am conference call prayer.. a miracle happen!
We grew and we grew and we grew... even while I'm away serving God in Taiwan.
From a negative growth... we leaped into the double digits.

In Jul 08, our ave CG was 15 (70% growth), SVc was 12.67 (46.7% growth) ranking us 3rd highest in the whole zone.
I thank God for His grace that has always been upon us. When we sacrifice our lives and put God first, He will honor us.
Now we have an average of 15-17 members. We're aiming for the 20s!
Together we're believing to multiply in early 2009!
August 01 The curse of the computersHere's a little secret.
Since the beginning when I started to buy computers, a curse has came upon me.
Every single brand that I buy will surely close shop "dao bi".
My very first PC is this brand called "IPC" (My-genie). After a few years when its down, I wanted to send for repairs and I was told that the company no longer exist in SG.
My 2nd was Gateway. Same thing. Close in SG.
Now.. my 3rd com(laptop) is A***. Man, I really prophecy you'll close down!
Today my mkting lecturer was giving a lecturer on Buyer Behaviour. She was saying like how some brands are condemn in her eyes and begin to poke fun at them. And guess what? She mentioned that she'll never ever buy the brand beginning with the letter "A". And she mentioned, you guys won't think that its Apple rite? Everyone nodded. She talked about brand reputation that how some brands can be so outcast by the society. True enough, I just send my A*** for repairs for loose screen. It has given me a lot of trouble for needing to backup all my info to prevent another Edison scam(though I've got none of such pics). Its not THAT bad but really I'm experiencing cognitive dissonance now. I feel so lousy and embarass while in class. I won't want to bring my laptop out to the streets. Almost every person that I met have no good things to say about Asus. Oh well, I hope I won't be sued by any company by blogging this but I wish you best of luck. I hope the "edwin curse" will not hurt you. My advice: Don't buy A***. They're condemned!
i'm sick..my body cannot resist the stress already..
jus saw a doctor today.
he gave me numerous medications and ask me to rest well.
i'm thinking in my heart... i would want to, but can I afford it.
Unlike any students or adults where after work or sch, they can go hang out w their friends/family mbrs or just do some hm work.
But i cannot afford to do that. I need to be in school in the day. After school, I have to rush to work at various locations from city hall to jurong west.
Everyday's like pao ge-tai. Rushing from place to place.. More than tat, I've got my mtgs to attend, cg to take care and tonnes of projects which need my undivided attention just to do research in librarys.
Argh.. I'm down and sick now.
i really need to be well again. God.. pls enlarge my capacity! Make me well and healthy again.
I want back my voice. After the straineous camps in TW, I no longer have back the strength that I used to have while leading P&W in the zone.
Now.. my voice will just crack under tremendous strain.
I'm desperate to be healed again!
I need rest.
Pls pry for me wouldn't you?
