Back in spore, in one piece. Sandflies, mosq, bee stings n lost of appetite n weight. But thank God i'm safe n i pass my JST. Nv wan to go back to Brunei again.. Tourism is so bad, their city mall is so much worse den a normal Lot 1 in spore. Aniwæ.. Let's share more bout my adventure of Jungle Survival Trg- Day1(sun 20th aug): took a noon royal brunei flight. From there, we took a fast craft thru e waters of south china sea, to another jetty where we were transported again by bus to SAF Lakiun Camp- the HQ of JCC in Brunei where it all happen. First 3 days were intro to camp, drawing stores, trg like knot tying, intro to edible fd, bldg shelter, traps, fireplace n skinning of animals for fd. Finally on thurs, we ate our last breakfast n was inserted into e most horrific jungle to survive 4D 3N w/o fd, shelter, water etc.. I was with yang and suan in e same site. We built our "A" frames, fireplaces, traps, fishing rods, utensils etc.. It was really hard core survival. My job was to cut trees for wood, find vines as ropes to tie n refill water. I got stung by a bee of e 1st day but thank God i'm fine. My frens took care of me. Am really thankful of them,. Nightfalls as early as 6pm n it rained all 3 nights. Was frozen cold but no choice, haf to suck it up! Last day still have to kill a quail as for assessment. I hate it.. V cruel but still have to kill it w bare hands.. We were extracted out on sun mrng n were given a map to find our way back to camp by 1700hrs to secure. We bashed thru e thick vegetation of brunei. My grp n another got lost n were stuck for tt day. We din manage to get back on time hence extended our stay by camping in e jungle till moday. Next day we completed n e rest is history. Thank God for His protection upon everyone. Wad an experience!

Happy bdae City Harvest! Am really proud to b in tis big family. 17yrs in e making-9th for me(since '98). Many ups n downs but thank God for everything. Really feel touched when e videos, testimony were showed. Been thru a lot.. From a sec 1 rebellious proudful teen.. picked up bad habits along e way till today.... n growing.. Well, tis yr's a little diff for me. Due to ndp commitments, i missed almost 4mths of cg. Though i'm still w em for svc, give bs.. but kind felt distant. Some of em pass nasty remark bout my return though they din mean it. Everyday i've been longing to b back to e cg. They dun noe how much they mean to me n i'm kinda hurt by their remarks. Well, they're still young so cant blame their insensitivity but it really spoil my day. I'll b back for my own cg next wk for one session den i'm flying to brunei for jungle survival n den taiwan in sep. Dunno how izzit gonna b like.. But for tis past 4mths, i've made a bunch of new frens(praise God.!) Pple from chinese church(fiyeon n grp who reached out to my mum), cc40.. bro joseph, guorong, shi zong, esther, guofu etc who has made my day when i served their cg at tiong bahru weekly as a guitarist, they really made me felt like a guest! Tks! To my new zone mbrs, zeslyn n hweeping who has housed me in their cg for mkup.. Faji n aiming.. I'm really thankful for all e frenship. N to a new zone who has given me opportunities to serve, tks.. I'm looking fwd to a greater min w u guys. To cat, huiling, valerie who has taken care of me, tks! N to sister Joanne: i'm looking fwd to learn more frm u. To everyone who has left a deep imprint in my life for 06, i thank u. My best frens-sharon, jin, na, kim.. Tks for everything! I hope tis last quart of 06 will b a gd one for all of us. My future? CL or remain in JO? Who knows? But i'll do my best wherever i am. Lastly, thankiew Jesus for who i am today!
