April 30 Glory glory Man Utd!!!Rmb 1999?
At the Nou Camp(Barcelona)..
Man U was playing Bayern Munchen at the Champions Lge FINALS?
Glorious days..
With Bayern leading 1-0 almost for the entire camp, Man U was on the brink of losing..
However their anxiety was relieved by United super sub legends Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
The joy to score at the 90th and 93rd min into the injury time redeemed Man U from hell to eventuall
win the infamous Treble (EPL, FA Cup, Champs Lge)
After 9 years... Yesterday morning.
Man U was facing an uphill task against Europe powerhouse Barcelona at Old Trafford.
A goal by the Spanish side will book them a place into the finals at Moscow.
Under tremendous pressure to play at home, the sea of red at the Theatre of Dreams
backed United from the start to the end.
Paul Scholes scored a absolute screamer volley at the 14th min and Man U defended their way to the finals!
Will there be a repeat of history when Man U will lift the UCL trophy again w either Liverpool or Chelsea?

Is there such a thing as a natural leader or is a leader made?
Well, perhaps what I'm going to share might shed some light to it.
Enjoy...
I always tell my members this: "Leaders make things happen"
As word implies, a leader leads.
When you're free, do this observation:
Put a group of people together.
Sooner or later, you'll realise that chaos will start to occur as everyone has their differences.
When the crowd gets frustrated and loses its direction, it will disban and seperate.
Unless SOMEONE step up and voice his opinion and the group is happy with it and head together with a common goal. - HE IS THE LEADER
But many people often have this wrong perspective that a leader is someone special and has this special "aura" or "wisdom" to draw from on high.
True to a certain extend but I rubbish that totally!
Any tom, dick or harry can be a leader. Its just whether he wants to bear the responsibilities and consequences a not.
The leader, like any of his peers, is just an ordinary person. The only thing that seperates him from the rest is his courage and guts to accept responsibility. He's willing to shoulder the burden and take on the challenge to make a decision and "gamble" his way regardless of outcomes. If he fails, he has 3 options.
1) Quit
2) Keep trying the same method
3) Evaluate his methods and try something different
He doesn't need to have special talents like spiderman but he needs to sacrifice a lot. Yes, stepping out of his comfort zone. Willing to take risk. Dare to explore new options. Try out new combinitions. Train newer leaders to multiply himself (well, that's a new topic entirely which I can blog about).
Let me give you a scenario:
Say you're in school and your class is going to the canteen together. You see that the canteen is crowded and there are seperate chairs and tables with used bowls and tissues all over the place. Everyone just stands and wait as they do not want to dirty themselves. Getting frustrated about it, YOU decide to get a few people and allocate them "duties". "Pull a few chairs over and combine the tables together", you instruct your peers. You clear the bowls and prepare the table for your classmates. Seeing your enthusiasm, a few classmates decide to help you set up the table. The table is ready.
You became the leader at that point. Respect is earned because you recognized a need and stepped out of your comfort zone to serve. You have a group of people who are willing to submit under your authority and they are influenced by your passion with a common vision. This results in a job well done and everyone's motivated. Together, everyone acheives more (TEAM).
Conversely speaking, if you're given a title as a leader but no one wants to be under you and tries to "over-throne" you, be wise and just step down. Your people make you the leader. But you can influence their behaviour by "winning" them over through servanthood.
Cool right? Haha... Its just a revelation I had from God today. Now I finally understanding what it truly meant by "leaders make things happen"

A special note to all leaders: You're greatly appreciated. At times when you're tired and just wish to "stop and stare", lean not upon your own understanding. There are people out there who are willing to lay down their lives for you. These are the ones who will support your ministry and build you up. April 16 球爱大战New show..
Went to Sentosa the entire of yesterday to film this beach volleyball new show..
I'm entirely burnt!!!
haha...starring stars such as Christopher Lee, Mark, Joanne Peh, Jessica Liu, Pan Ling Ling etc...
Thurs there's another shoot..
April 14 prawns!A night fishing at Lakeside "Fisherman's Village".
Well.. a great experience and a great lesson to learn!!!
Attendance: Don, Vin, Bee, Xuemin(new fren.. *lol) and ME!!!
Prawn fishing.. $13/hr per rod(inclusive of bait and free charcoal + firestarter).
Buy 2 hours and get 1 free. So in total we spent $52 on 2 rods(3 hrs each)
Went there with eager hearts and everyone's looking forward for a BIG HARVEST..
We hook our bait, find a spot and cast our "net"..
waited.. waited.. waited... waited... 1 hr past.. experienced uncles around us brought up huge big fat prawns one by one..
and there's even one malay uncle who caught one prawn with his lightning quick hand! I was like... *argh!!!
my heart plungged to the bottomless pit. We switch players, switch positions, switch hooks, baits... but to no avail..
Sian-ess... Rayvin and team VS Edwin and team..
The quest to see which team gets our first fret..
Vin and xm was trying... me and bee took turns and donny fell asleep.
it was really very boring and discouraging for this bunch of newbies.
ppl ard us all experiencing a net breaking, boat sinking harvest while the 5 kukus are still scratching our head and wonder why.
The angry thing is that we felt the "tugging" from the prawns and we pulled the hook up with our rod. Before we know it, our bait's gone! Theft right under our nose! Such audacity! "daylight robbery!"...
and after 1.5 hrs... of waiting and waiting...
Edwin finally had his first catch!!!!!!!
Hooray.... I screamed, yelled, jumped!!! and shared my joy with whole pond! Haha... ppl were like grining at me giving me the "err...ok" look.
haha... I won!!! lol.. (we have this serving culture in our club. so as promised... vin will have to start the fire!)
and we got 1 prawn in our net...
After my adrenalin subsided, its back to the boring waiting game again! wait.. and wait.
by this time, xm and vin has already given up as they went to buy their ice-cream and eat. Don was still taking turns to hold our rods when we're tired, coming up with his "theories" on why is there no catch and trying very hard to catch the prawns with his hand learning from the inspiring malay uncle.
haha... and Bee.. well, she was trying very hard! Every time she felt a tug, she will put it up vigourously and the hook will fling to the roof!!!
*lol.. what a joke...
Liverpool on the other hand was scoring goals and vin was just so satisfied with it.. (tv outside pub beside pond)
3 hours over! Time's up! Total harvest: 1!!!!
Bee was sad... discouraged.. you name it, she has it.
The worker came to collect our rods. I spoke to him to "buy time". Ask him for tips to catch. He couldn't believe that we caught only 1 after 3 hrs w 2 rods!!! He said, "you must be kidding me. You guys surely have free the prawns or already bbq it rite? What an insult!"
AND SUDDENLY...
Bee felt a tug and she pulled up a little prawny!!!

Hahaa...our team won! Vin... WEAK AR!!! *lol..
She was overjoyed, hilarious, eccentric, grinning from ear to ear..
I free my pathetic prawn while bee was busy cam-whoring to showcase her successful story! She bbq the prawn and ate it merrily!
LESSON LEARNT
And after that.. we went t feast at tiong bahru Hoi San to end our adventurous day! April 13 Be thankfulWhat a week! Was thinking about some related issues recently and God spoke to me on perspectives.
I met up with my mbr today to give BS - CL L4 "Thanksgiving".
This sermon is rather easy to preach. Bout how we should be appreciative to God so that we can enter into His pressence. But as I was sharing this Word, God showed me some revelations that got me thinking.

Have you ever woke up on the wrong side of the bed where you feel that your day is rather sulky? You get irritated very easily. Being impatient with every single issue. You stare at people when they accidentally bum onto you. You get frustrated when the bus-driver brakes abruptly. You sigh when the train is late. Frustrations after frustrations and you just feel that the sky is forever "cloudy". When you open your mouth, you'll hear yourself saying things like, "Stop irritating me can?", "Go away", "I don't feel like..", "Nvm its okay..", "Why can't...?", "Grrr... argh...!!!!".
Oh well.. we all have our rainy days.. When there's unforgiveness, bitterness, frustrations, impatience... As a matter of fact, they will all come as a package!!! Call it VALUE COMBO MEAL 1 - UPSIZED!!! (if you want to).
The key to overcome this and turn your rainy days into sunny ones is when you make yourself wake up at the right side of the bed! Situations will occur. Life is never a bed of roses. But oh well... choose to smile
 . Be thankful! Part of being thankful is when you choose to praise and appreciate everyone, everything! By being positive, you're actually refraining yourself from murmuring and complaining. Pst once mentioned that anyone that you show your appreciation to, their value will appreciate! Choose to praise! Its never easy to do so especially in difficult times but let's face it, our lives is a roller-coaster ride. Learn to "enjoy" those bad times and cruise through it! Men are not perfect. We'll get offended at times. Learn to love them. Love coves all. Instead of remembering all the wrong-doings of a person, choose to remember the sacrifices he/she made and how he/she is a blessing to you! Learn to Cuddle, not to Criticize
Learn to Love, not to Lament
Learn to be Patient, not to Persecute
Learn to Give, not to Get
Learn to Smile, not to Sulk
Hope you're blessed by it

gonna be serious w my bod for at least this period. Will be missing all my "best friends" a.k.a my wonderful delicacies, supper etc..
but oh well.. there's oways a price to pay for a sacrifice. Hope its going to be good
Words by people around you can really make an impact. good or bad.. both influcenes. Well, when people "nag", you'll tend to comply. But sometimes need to "have confidence" and know why you're doing what you're doing. You can't be a man-pleaser for life! People have their right to express their opinions. Have to balance lar.. of cuz u gotta be open to other's advice but yet know yourself best.

Happy Bdae Charmaine Went to ONE ROCHESTER to chill w ex-CL ldrs. Attendance: Valerie, Aiming, Suzy, Sharon, Miranda, Elaine, Rachel, Faji, Shaun, Win and of course Charmaine. The meal was costly but that's the price for the ambience. Very dark and cosy.. good service as well. The ldrs bought her a Braun Buffel corporate hand bag for her practical use in the mkt place, a 3-album photo album of all the collection of her CGs since 1998 and also her fav red hot PSP(slim). April 04 floodedWhat a wet day! I believe from the reports found in news and traffic watch, you will roughly have a gauge on how bad the weather and traffic condition was. I ended my lessons and was about to leave the school to rush for tuitions that I know how bad the weather was. Bt Timah area being the water catchment area was badly hit! Floods were everywhere! The freaky thing is that the flood covered the usually empty canal (about 6 meters deep) and the water overflow to the roads! The picture shown below was actually a wide canal but got transformed into a mini river. It was so bad that it covered almost more than 1/2 of the safety railings(see pic on left). And the tyres of the vehicles were almost half-covered! So exciting..haha...of cuz I was already drenched, but who cares! I enjoyed the hype!
