A week to remember for most of the students as they've finally completed their long-awaited exams.
Esp for my RV ppl who once again rose up to the occasion in bringing their friends.
A week of revival. 30 for CG! which consist of 17 new friends. Wow...

Yesterday was our zone's "A shot to fame" auditions for the various categories such as dance, vocals and band. I got a chance to be there to witness the young contestants battling themselves and try out their shot to stardom. Some of them were inexperienced but what really impressed me is their guts. Its something that's commendable. At their young age, they are actually singing/performing on stage for the audiences to see. There's errors here and there, glimpse of nervousness, forgetting their lyrics, technical unawareness etc but I feel that they were really bold. When I was 15, I din even join such competitions. My first talentime was in PJC. I was 18 by then. These youths are simply awesome! I'm blown away by then. This will be my very first examination in the so-called official University. Although I'm in Sem 3 now,
i missed the first 2 sems due to exemptions from my diploma course(DMS) that SIM offered to me. 4 modules instead of the usual 3 that I took per sem in DMS.
As usual, we have plenty of project assignments to rush and every week, we're just meeting up, doing our parts and rushing for deadlines.
What's the drastic difference? Friends.
Usually during my exams period, I'll get a few of my classmates to study together at places like Mac. I'm a very "argumentative" person where I learn best when I have someone to discuss and help me stimulate my thinking. I never memorise facts but I understand them. People that know me will know that I'm quite a "deep" person. I see things differently and I'll learn to think of examples that I can apply and relate to. Previously, I've got friends like Wei Jian, Terence and sometimes Linh to join me and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Late morning meet-ups at Science Center Mac or Bukit Batok Mac and we'll head for lunch (late-comer pay). I really enjoy those days. Even for my project mates, I've come to appreciate them even more - Jetrink, Brandon, Alan, Linh, Myself. Minimal conflicts, zero meet-ups. Due to the fact that we're a single gender team, we work very effectively and efficiently. We will meet only like once during our break, split our task and bring back our work to do. So shuang kuai!
Things have changed after I moved on to RMIT
 .More meet-ups, all gals and one "always-invisble" guy in my group (you can see that i hardly mention about them at all). Different personalities, many cliques, no friendship. So sick of such lifestyle. Sometimes I just don't feel like going to school. RMIT is like a big lecture hall where everyone's doing their own things. I still prefer DMS. Yes, lots of foreigners, young kids, noisy people but I like their energy. Their guts to ask questions and challenge the lecturer at times. All these have changed. Sighs... The only thing that's sustaining me is to have tuitions after school and to meet my dear. That's all. Other than that, school s**.
But I want to do well for my coming exams. I miss Weijian, terribly. Apart from swimming and gyming on alternate days, he won't be able to study with me as before. Dear dear has offered to accompany me to study but I doubt it will be as fruitful as someone that I can ask questions and learn together but still, I do appreciate her time and effort just to keep me company. U're the best darling!
Thank God that with the help of Donny, I got my first Distinction for my OB class assignment. *praise God!!!
Let's just hope that I will do well for my studies. I must be productive, fruitful. The month of September has passed. Its quite a stale month. No growth in my CG... lots of absentees due to exams. Change must take place. I must make things happen. New changes coming for October. 23 by Dec - our vision. No more honeymoon period guys.. no more waiting for things to happen.. no more adjusting your spiritual life... time for a great white wash!!!
Pray for me:
pray for my throat - voice hasn't been well since my TW camps and now its badly affected after all the P&W in Cg/Zone mtgs/Edge.
Pray that I will not develop nodules.
Pray for my studies.. greater capacity.. good grades. I really need to do well to have a better future.
Pray for breakthru in my CG.. training more leaders and growth in my mbr's life! no more slacking... up up and away!!!
Pray for financial breakthru. Pst Kong says it all. No more stupidity from my part. I want to plan, prosper and progress on in life and to give her a better life. Exam period ending.. all tutions seized = zero income. Pray for open doors. I really need to be a "jireh" in my life as a son, boyfriend and a leader.
