Hey peeps..

 

How's everyone? Kinda busy recently so i've cut down on my blog updates.

Things have been fine so far. After my desperation praying and crying out to God, He is always faithful to answer my prayers :)

Got many new tuitions and assignments coming in. I've even got phone calls stating as referrals from my past students wanting to learn from me.

For now, I've got 6 students already! Praise God. (i believe more will come!)

Sch has started and its time to enlarge my capacity to juggle between my work and sch projects!

 

Recently some of you might have saw my short airtime on 心花朵朵开2 (<--click to view entry). Haha.. kinda funny.

I've never seen any of my shows on tv before apart from my debut, The Champions many years back.

Aniwae.. I've got another show coming up - 未来不是梦 Dream Catchers debuting 4 Feb.

Just on mon, I've done another show 书包太重 together with stars like Ruien and Terence Cao.

 

Well, these are my updates so far. Looking forward to a long holiday! This year's gonna be interesting as I'll be going over to Rae's side for visitaiton! So excited..

Looking back at 2008, it has be the best year yet for me..

 
In my studies..

I've graduated from my Dip prog with SIM and I'm doing my Bachelors with RMIT in marketing.

In my 1st sem(sem 3), I've passed all 4 subjects with 1 distinction and 1 credit.
Praise the Lord! Coming this 5th Jan, I'll start my sem 4 and hope to graduate by the end of the year!

 

I'm still "Mr Ong" giving private tuition to my friends/relatives majoring in secondary maths.

For 2008, students under my tutorage include Yunting, Kailin, Valerie, Francesca, Federica + Zhiyuan(acoustic guitar)

In 2009, I hope to spread my "band-width" and increase my capacity. So far my time-slots are quite freed-up. Able to teach in the west/central area after 6pm on mon-fri. So do help me to spread around and feel free to contact me via tagging or email me at guezznot26@hotmail.com

In my ministry..
I thank God that I've experienced a significant breakthrough last year. Under the guidance of Pst Zhuang and Kelvin Tan, more doors were opened to me to serve in the house of God. I run activities and events and was involved in numerous committees together with the WYZ team. They are the best people to work with as all of us have one common vision to flow in and were all led by the Holy Spirit. The most significant events were definitely the june "STRONGER" inspire camp. Together with Kelvin and Rae, we spear-headed the committee and held a successful camp at Bukit Timah MOE Dairy Farm Center. Together with the Camp-X people, we combined our efforts to host our first-ever Haute Couture and I managed to work with church legends like Careen, Sendy Bolang, Jessel and musos etc.
Another land-mark of my ministy was my first ever mission trip with the Church. Together with Pst Zhuang and our missions team, we went to Taipei-Kaohsiung-Taipei to volunteer our services and help to facilitate their youth camp. Worked with TW greats like Rev Wayne and team and also people from New Life Church. It was the most memorable event in my life.

And of course on my bdae, I had my first breakthrough to song lead in JW Audi in our then-called EDGE and now EMERGE youth movement. It has always been my dream to be a song-leader. Looking back at how I will immitate and idolise people like Sidney Mohede, Poh, Delirious?, Joe Pringle.. I never thought that my dream will come true to be leading on such a privileged platform.
Was appreciated by the zone and was nominated for the Mr Chatter-box, Mr Sunshine and won the Mr Cool award in our appreciation dinner. Praise the Lord!

Thank-you Pst for all your opportunities, Kelvin my team leader for always encouraging me and my co-workers that chiong together with me in the entire 2008 calendar year!

 

This is my fruit! I've been waiting for 9 years before I finally became a CGL. The group was officially formed on Oct 07. We've struggled so much due to our small size but I thank God for strong mbrs that have fought through thick and thin together. They were the bravest people I've ever met. Never gave up on me and kept supporting and encouraging my ministry. W453 will never be who we are today without all these strong warriors. From single digit in the beginning of the year, we have an average attendace of 19 now. 4 less from our target but I believe we'll multiply by early 2009. Thank-you W453 for your never-say-die attitude: Leslie Gordon Wendy Dixun Xuke Janice AngelYAp Mervin Huiwen Joy Anna Felicia Gary Wayne ChaoChung Angel Rachel Rosalyn.

RSC rules! These are the people who supported me in my high and low days. They are the people I call friends. We chiong together, go out, play pool, movies, holiday trips (bangkok in july, JB in dec).. They are my "Sabbath-pple"! Tks Donny and Rayvin especially for all the brother fellowship. And pple like Lynn SiewPeng BeeLeng Xuemin and new-inclusion Raedear for the wonderful moments spent togeter! RSC rox...

What can I say? The most impt woman in my life! Thank God for you. On the 24 Aug 08, she came to my CG place to surprise me by saying "YES" to our rship. The rest is history. For the past few months, I've learnt to love her so much more. She was my pillar of strength and support when I'm discouraged and disappointed. We went through hardship together and learnt valuable lessons as well. I've never regretted chosen her and its my greatest honor to have her as my dear. We aim to be a "dynamic duo" serving God and Pst's vision together in 2009! I love you baby!!!
